There is no question about the original being utterly superior inspite of Michael Cane trying his best in both. Yeah, I know, the Deathtrap will claim to be original too, but the parallels are way too obvious. The Sleuth also doesn't have to deal with the Christopher Reeve's wooden acting. I am wxtremely sorry to see bad things happen to basically good people, but he would be the one to play Al Gore with no makeup in some silly political spoof - don't you think so? John Travolta did such excellent job impersonating Clinton's ugliness that the issue of external similarities may be moot, but still, how many actors are out there who look sooo similar to their potential characters? There is an actress out there who looks about 120% as Hillary - anyone could help me with her name? I have seen her in a couple of crappy movies and can't recall the name.
You have probably not seen that one, but there is a Russian actor who could perfectly be mistaken for Brezhnev. He apparently actually played him too.
Any candidates for Clinton's legacy movie? Any other famous characters?
