Recently watched (or as mostly the case with these older films, "rewatched"-enjoy the new adult perspective) the 1950 crime film "The Asphalt
Jungle" with Sam Jaffe, Sterling Haden, Louis Calhern and Marilyn Monroe, among others.
Enjoyed it and found it interesting; directed by John Huston - there
is a definite message conveyed in this film and it is: "Crime Does Not
Pay!". - AH
