I don't know about you, but I go completely bunkers over that old Roman plaster. Those buildings around the Piazza with window shutters and in centuries-old state of disrepair - the state one wishes would continue forever. Sort of like the permanently unshaven look of some movie stars.I enjoyed the movie immensely. Not as much because of its good film-making (quite good, indeed), but to large degree because of its interiors and the scenery. I could just sit there and stare at those bare walls with their old dilapidated moldings and dark spots where pictures used to hang...
