After the Forbidden Games we went on a search mission for more movies with her. We finally found one (it is not too easy for some reason, even though some of them are highly rated and star folks like Delon and Bronson). This one is called La Boum. I have to admit to being a bit nervous - oftentimes your anticipation turns out wrong and you meet someone you would rather not. Not here. There was no difficulty recognizing her. It is almost unreal how much she maintained of that five-year-old look. She plays very well and all indications seems to be that she was severely underused by the movie industry. I guess, the answer lies in the fact that she is not your average eye-catcher (Thank God she is not Pam Anderson). You would possibly miss her in the crowd. But spend just few minutes with her and you are not able to take your eyes off her face. She is elegant and talented, but her beauty is quiet and unassuming, she is much more the real person and not a role personage. I am quite glad we found that movie. I am glad she still has that look on her face that made the Games so special.
Ah, and the movie... Quite good, full four stars in my book. Humorous and warm without drooling and sobbing. A very rewarding entertainment, light and elegant.
Now we need to find more of her work. And yes, that boy too - he was too good to be overlooked.
