Add to that the fact that it was at least twenty minutes too long and that Scorcese is trying to remake Goodfella's and I was not blown away... not even close. I thought the movie tried too hard but I did think DiCaprio gave his best performance since before he became a star (wouldn't be surprised or disappointed if he won an Oscar) and I was reasonably entertained.There sure is a lot of hype for a middle of the road movie.
