...Very disappointing.
Overly scripted and horribly edited. Virtually impossible to follow and the temporal jumps were enough to have you wondering what era you were in and just who was who.
Too preachy too. And a bit of a morality play the way they scripted the indian character.
Way too much money wasted in battle scenes and not enough in script tightening.
And it was at least a half hour too long.
Eastwood really missed the mark with this one.
Too bad too, because the guy is tremendously talented.
