The funny parts were hysterical (save when he was torturing the people who had him over for dinner, that was just mean) and the funny parts were when he was genuinely doing the candid camera thing because he's got some big balls and is willing to put himself in some intense situations for a laugh. The scripted stuff was pretty lame (a real snoozefest) except for one notable exception. The naked wrestling had the audience in tears and, as in the post a few down from this, there were women screaming with laughter, delight and disgust. Also the naked wrestling went from being a scripted bit to a candid camera bit in a very funny way.
I'd say that in the app. 90 minutes of movie 30 - 40 of them were funny and about 15 - 20 of them were hysterical. The other 40 - 50 minutes were mostly not funny or good, making it a good rental... except for the fact that it's a hoot to see it with 300 laughing people.
Don't piss on my shoe and tell me it's raining.
