Befriending a simple temple repairer, the couple's lives begin to change as they get on the train that to my mind steps in for the Mississippi steamers of GWTW.
Beautifully and imaginatively shot and set to sweeping orchestral music or choreographed to almost Spanish guitar (especially the fight sequences) or Satie-esque solo piano this will be a treat for everyone who appreciates a different view of the world or who wants to be transported.
And just to carry this through, instead of our usual pictures of western actresses, here are the two female leads...
