promoting U.S. patriotism and involvement in WWII. Lots of interviews
with actors who joined service back then: Tony Curtis, Cliff Robertson, Eddie Albert, et al, with pieces on Clark Gable, Jimmy Stewart, Henry Fonda, James Arness (almost lost a leg) and Lee
Marvin(wounded). Pentagon didn't like Hollywood's promotion due its
isolationist policies, but that changed via Pearl Harbor. ~AH
