This is an HBO film about the upcoming closing of a venerable Brooklyn diner due to a corporate developer's buyout and the effect that this is having on a group of employees and customers, most of whom are black. Episodic in nature,it ofcuses mostly on families and the age old war between the generations. I thought it a bit too short and found the ending abrupt but I did enjoy the flick and the actors, who brought a street realism to their roles.
