Perhaps the worst set decorations I've ever seen---- post-war Berlin looked antiseptic, as did all locations.
Damon has the emotive depth and flexibility of... hmmm. I just can't think of a less emotive or similarly wooden mainstream actor with which to compare him. He seemed to be doing an impersonation of the Nicholson's "Mr. Schmidt" for the entire film, including the dork walk.
Angelina Jolie totally was miscast as the loyal wife drawn to the scared-of-his-shadow Damon character.
Poor all around and long as hell.
"Best spy film... ever!" the banner proudly proclaimed.
The superlative needed to be turned 180 degrees.
