After a long abstinence of twenty years, I had just to re-see what has made my wild love as a kid.
A masterpiece? Yes. More theater than movie, a sumptuous text, no wonder, Prevert.
Actors, Pierre Brasseur, Renoir who soon will have to die.
Arletty, well she slept with a German officer and had to pay dearly for it.
I mean after the war, and she deserved it.
It is very French, and I wonder how that does translate in English? Anyway the English under titles were only not that good.
Now if you ask me if it is a very good film...You will disturbe me.
