..and I did in the Zodiac. As usual, his performance and characters capture my imagination - furthermore I find his characters believable yet they are still drenched in Downey-ness. "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is a must see for a Downey fan.
I thought the film was a good popcorn film (I went to a 10 AM showing in Manhattan during a downpour -gotta love the movies!) I thought the dramatizations might have been a bit self-serving and manipulative- but It was fact filled and well acted. My favorite scene was based on personal experience- I lived in the Bay Area during the Zodiac years and the locations were a thrill to see, particularly the lobby of the old North Point theatre. It was* exactly* as I remembered it and unless I'm mistaken the North Point was shut down over 10 years ago. The last time I was in that lobby was during an "Alien" showing in 1979(?).
On Zodiac complaint ... over a the period of 10 years, Jake Gyllenhaal didn't age one minute -his wardrobe didn't change nor did his stylish facial stubble.
