"push up bustiers" they are everywhere!or
"delusion of grandeur" which describes the condition of the director Zhang Yimou. That guy has ran out of ideas and has been repeating himself for sometime now. He seems to think all that needed is to make each new installment more artfully colored and with even grander staging. Repetiton has crossed into excess, self-indulgence and hubris.
P.S. The film itself, in isolation, is not half bad - if you haven't seen any of the recent Chinese "epics". If you have, then the feeling of deja vu is pervasive. And, like the puffed-up bosoms, more stylistic shell than substance.
