...the rage virus is alive! And one sits before the screen waiting, hoping to see an infectee appear lumbering over the horizon.
But it doesn't quite happen that way, which is OK...
Although so many narrative lapses occur, one wonders if the makers ever storyboarded this one. A couple of examples:
The "island" in London was supposedly tightly held, but two kids slipped out quite easily.
And where exactly was their mother -- or was it not her? -- when their father supposedly saw her die; and what was up with that (apparently deliberate) confusion anyway?
Why hadn't the military authorities thought through the operational basics of an outbreak or a panic? (Because then there wouldn't have been stampeding crowds, I know, I know.)
If you liked 28 Days you'll probably not want to miss this, but the former was a more profound statement on human nature than its busy sequel.
