"Mrs. Kusters Goes to Heaven."

Yes, yet another Fassbinder I've seen, and a damn good one even by his superb standards.
A man goes berserk at a plant, killing an executive before committing suicide. Fassbinder, of course, has little interest in the visual aspects of the crime but rather the avalanche which hastens down upon the unfortunate murderer's family members.
This is a most complex, realistic portrayal of a family, its intersecting agendas, and the explosive after effects of communism and its clash with capitalism.
Don't expect a "talky," intellectual exercise with clear answers or even issues, however: Fassbinder is too talented, clever, and respectful of his audience to do that.
This isn't, perhaps, the perfect point to begin a study of his works but to those who have seen other of his films, and enjoyed them, this is a MUST see.
