Having recently watched the delightful "Antz" (see below) I just ghad to get my fill of insect jokes so last night I dug out this "rival". Loosely (very) based on "The Nagnificent Seven", "A Bug's Life" has a much brighter color pallette that "Antz" but far less Hollywood stars doing the voices (See list below). I would say that, overall, this is a more interesting film than Antz" primarily because of the wider range of characters based on different insects. The jokes in each are about equal and cover spoken as well as visual puns. "..Bug's..." is the longer film as well. I think one can enjoy both equally well.
