I couldn't help but see the parallels with Nader's progression of disillusionment with the democratic party over time and Greenspan's recent denouncement of the republican party losing their way, trading principle for power.

If you're a democrat and blame Nader for everything, the movie shows the democratic party losing their way, trading principle for power.
