The movie ended announcing that Chris Wiebe had the Donkey Kong record over Billy Mitchell as of Fall 2006.

According to the TwinGalaxies Web Site, they have changed places again, with Billy now holding the record and Chris 1100 pts or so back on a video tape refereed game.

Billy Mitchell was portrayed in the movie as pompous, arrogant and unlikable: Weibe as the likable loser who finally won big. These characterizations were probably primarily to make what could have been pretty dry more interesting, and likely have little basis in fact.
