...I haven't been so pulled in by Tommy Lee Jones since his "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" years. Charlize Theron is amazing, and Susan Sarandon well chosen for her strength and demure.
Director Paul Haggis' tone and restraint made it gripping throughout.
I just love this film for its unhyped and solid film storytelling -- like that from the 70's.
A film with bite and a warning.
