already at his young age and experience level; certainly, he's the finest of the youngsters.
The film, however, is a mess. Enough McGuffin's to fill a bakery shop in Boston's Southie and then some.
At one point, one of the film's critical moments, an incident occurs which Casey's character fails to notice for, in film terms, several days.
But it gets worse: SPOILER
One is to believe that cops will litter Boston with bodies just to help a senior cop get around adoption laws?
This premise is almost as dumb as the Mystic River plot which sank what could have been a regular missing kid flick.
What a waste: there were a lot of good supporting actors in this film...
