This is an interesting Stephen Soderberg film from the mid-nineties. Peter Gallagher stars as a gambler who has flown the coop to avoid large debts, leaving his attractve wife to pick up the pieces and eventually depend on various men to support her. We learn this from flashbacks which are confusing at first. The Gallagher character returns to his Austin, Texas, home town and has to ingratiate himself with his family and then woo the wife back. He lands a job at an armored car company when his mother's new husband recommends him. When he runs afoul of his wife's gangster boyfriend he concocts a plot to rob his employer and then split the proceeds with the boyfriend. OK but nothing great here from this brilliant director
