"Perfume: The Story of a Murderer:" I liked "Run, Lola, Run"

very, very much and have been disappointed with all Tom Tykwer's subsequent efforts.
This, however, is a howler, with the already mentioned "execution" scene setting a new nadir.
The premise is interesting, the actors not terrible (Hoffman is miscast), but after an interesting first reel, it becomes just another serial killer flick, though with high art pretensions.
Definitely not worth you time, though I wouldn't go so far as to say it stinks...
