If you don't, you will miss a real gem of a movie. The French title is Cache. The director is Michael Haneke who also made The Piano Teacher (another great movie - did anyone else see it?). It stars the wonderful Juliette Binoche (hubba hubba) and Daniel Auteuil who give stunning performances.
I won't give away the plot, but Hidden is about a married couple who receive mysterious packages of video tapes. Haneke creates an incredibly Kafkaesque claustrophobic atmosphere in this movie, and generates a world of psychological torment. It avoids all cliches magnificently. Subtlety reigns supreme. Rent it now or else....
Attached is a great review of the movie from the Guardian (although it doesn't give away the ending, I'd read it after watching the movie).
Cheers. Doug
