But an Oscar? I may be biased as I'm a BIG Travolta fan, but I think his portrayal of Paul Brenner, the wisecracking CID officer in The General's Daughter, was worthy of Oscar consideration. One of the very few times I saw the movie and then read the book. The first half of both were virtually identical, the second halfs totally different. Next up is A Civil Action I taped last week.
