...I watched an interview with him about the film and his book.

I respect and admire his principles.

And he is correct saying third party candidates raise issues the two main party candidates don't.

But he could have accomplished the same things by bowing out of the presidential race at the past minute.

Instead, he is driven by his big ego and ened up a spoiler.
