It was touted as a working Denon. It was everything save the 12 bit video DAC. It only has the standard 10 bit. So, I expect to still view banding, but the DVDO progressive 3-D scan ... with 3:2 pull down ability & detection. So, it solves most of my concerns save the fact my year old EAD pre/pro isn't upto the task, nor is the upgrade a valid solution, IMHO.....just my 2¢
