I just saw the silent movie. The chariot race was *WELL* done. The eyelevel cinematography of the race surpased the effects of the modern classic. They must've filmed it from behind a truck. For the era especially it was a marvel. You can dispense with the entire rest of the flick though.....just my 2¢
