This started out as predictable and contrived yet blossomed nicely into a worthy film with a few well done tricks of plot and character that merits your time.Vincent Lindon shaves off his moustache before going to a dinner party. His wife doesn't notice, his hosts don't notice, his coworkers don't notice and to top it off: nobody remembers him even having one!
Well, at first he's pissed. Then after some serious discussions with his loving wife he begins to doubt his sanity. He finds vacation pictures showing himself with his life long "stache" only for them to disappear. When his wife calls a psychiatrist and plans to have him committed for treatment he bolts on an unexplained journey for the truth of who he is. This is where things get a wee trippy for Vincent.
I haven't really appreciated Lindon until know. Excellent job along with the supporting cast. Beautifully framed and worth the time.
