With one exception they were all wretched movies that I wouldn't see anyway, so I was able to read the articles complete and enjoy the critics having at them, mercilessly.The exception was the new Paul Verhoeven; I disliked the previews so I read the review, and got the distinct impression that it was given three stars only because... three stars would be expected of this film.
