This has just opened on preview here this swekend and I alipped in this afternoon.
It is (I think) 17 short films about Paris from different directors; directors such as Van Zant, Craven, Tykwer.
Most of these films are scarcely more than one scene, but they show you how much story you can tell with such simple means.
There are funny films, sad films, scarey films, one shocking film and a lot of love.
There are words of advice from Oscar Wilde.
Views of Paris by night that makes THAT shot of LA look hopelessly suburban.
And at the heart of the film is a performance by Juliette Binoche so powerful the audience, all of us, were palpably stunned.
