Lots of spoilers, so be warned!!!!!
A bunch of really young yuppies in a luxury apt. for a party are rudely awakened to the fact that a massive creature is knocking down Manhattan.
There's a lame story where the hero is separated from his love interest with whom he's never bared his emotional soul so he must travel across the all of Manhattan, with this creature wreaking havoc King Kong never dreamed of, to share his feelings before he dies. And... he gets three other guys to go along.
Right.
This movie has zero suspense. Things shake, people die. Always.
Yes, the camera shakes but it's the shaky story and direction that sink it.
"Blair Witch Project," on the other hand, didn't rely on creatures to create suspense and horror: it forced you to internalize your fears which is far scarier--- as any Hitchcock fan knows.
Absolutely no reason to see this film.
