Although I liked it a lot, NCFOM was not my favorite film of the year (that would probably be The Diving Bell & The Butterfly, and personally I thought Atonement was underrated) but I'm very happy to see the Coens win.
I'm still surprised that this film and the Coens were so warmly embraced by Hollyweird types...but if it helps the boys to make more of their distinctive cinema well halleluuuuuujah!
It was an interesting mix for BP, and only Michael Clayton seemed out of place to me, although it didn't offend, and Juno is a bit light. That's rare for me and Oscar.
