they came up with a good way to do 3D DVDs.
I'm told that certain of the newest TVs have a 120 Hz frame (refresh) rate and with the right DVD could be configured to do the same type of 3D that you saw (or didn't see) in the Beowulf movie.
But, to my knowledge there are no 3D Blu Ray disks yet, and the 120Hz TVs for the moment at least are rare. But if the TV manufacturers want people to have an excuse to upgrade their sets, then a 3D DVD or two might just do it.
I saw Beowulf in non-3D and then in 3D..the first was ok BUT the latter was spectacular.
