""I was hoping someone could lend some insight to Netflix's perplexing policy of acknowledging the existence of certain DVD's but classifying them as "unavailable". I'm guessing that it has something to do with lawyers and money.""
I don't like the fact they don't have an alphabetical listing of all their items. You can browse or you can search. Nowhere is there a list. When you forget about movies you want to see its imperative to have the complete list to search from. Let's face it, they want to re-rent top hits over and over not have thousands of titles they rarely rent. I like odd, indie and foreign films. When you click on indie it says "we have nearly 1300 indie films" . OK great! Where is the list? There isn't one. I do like you can search by actor. That's nice. I forgot the title to a Steve Buschemi film I like and found it. "Living in Oblivion" - see it if you haven't it's a lot of fun.
