That one could go either way though I suppose. If it cured his would then that's fine because he still didn't receive the immortal properties. Not really sure how an immortality drink could fix wounds to begin with but beside that. Should the wound come back when he leaves the seal? I don't know. You could argue that the immortality drink would not reverse things once they've been given. Granted you would die if you left after 1000 years but then you'd be 1000 years old and nature would take it's course so there would not be a reversal.
But it's religion - it never has to make sense or be supportable by any evidence, and especially not logic or reason, but I have fun watching them.
