What, really, is there to say about this film? I watched it again the
other night for the first time in about 20 years, and was again
flabergasted by just how nearly perfect it is. Noted only a very
few problems, and they were exceedingly minor. The acting, the
dialog, the sets, the continuity, the building tension, the high
quality of the story and how morally despicable John Huston's
character was - it's all nearly perfect.
One of the top 10 best films of any era, I think.
