"Hancock:" a great

1/4, then started deteriorating in direct relationship to the amount of FX.
As long as it concentrated on his character, leaving it mysterious, it was interesting. Then, the baby step story-telling took over and it became a by-the-numbers, you've-seen-it-all-before bore.
It's making a lot of money so I guess those like me who hold out hope that FX films will learn to regulate the screen time for this stuff are going to just slowly twist in the wind.

Considering his last films, I think it's obvious he either owns or is heavily invested in FX companies. I noticed he was producer, also. He needs to pony up some more $$ for writing, in the future.
He's rapidly becoming Denzel-lite.
