just to see. This format has been done poorly in the past, if it is done poorly, I will stop watching.
I also watched Siskel and Ebert since PBS. I have learned about more new movies from them than from any other single source. With the Internet now, of course, it is easy to find out what's opening in New York and get reviews, etc., but the half hour show with clips went down easy.
I never liked Roeper too much as a critic, but many of his temporary partners were great- A.O. Scott and others.
The sad part about this is the cancer...watching Siskel sicken and hear of his death, watching Ebert sicken and now his voice is gone, his TV days are over...it's a shame, beyond the TV show.
