You won't get much more but it's not a BAD movie just one you've seen countless times before.
I enjoyed it very much because there are many, many individual and joint scenes where we just get to see these guys talk. Not histrionics but just calm, dispassionate "acting."
I'll admit to being a passionate fan of both so it was very entertaining and interesting for me to contrast the two acting styles. It also is apparent both, as they've aged, have learned to distill the essence of their techniques down to the minimum wherein they seem like they're conversing, not reciting lines.
The plot?
It's something about a serial killer that must have seen "Death Wish" a few times too many (or "Se7en") and kills miscreants that the law cannot bring to justice; this Avenger appears to know things which only a cop would so eventually the attention of investigators turns to the investigative team of DeNiro and Pacino's characters who are the lead detectives.
