The Coen brothers have made the most entertaining film of the year, as they did last year.
As usual, it's an ensemble of their regulars that make this so pleasurable, as well as the fiercely clever dialogue and plot. Not since "Blood Simple" have you felt so guilty laughing as pitch-dark humorous catestrophes follow one upon the other, all occasioned by greed and vicious, uncontrollable desire.
For those that trust our "intelligence" agencies, you may wish to avoid this film: your slumbers will be interrupted.
Though Brad Pitt has won kudos for his unusual role, I found hot his acting itself but rather the calculated, against-the-type portrayal discomfitting.
More later on this trend........
