It can be watched as an indictment of our culture in the 21st century, where the meaning and value of interpersonal relationships, marriage and even identity has disintegrated and been replaced with match.com and plastic surgery pursuits. I especially like how all the domestic issues between couples were assigned to the realm of spy-thriller spoof, but with that dark Coen humor they do so well. Another brilliant film from the C brothers destined for cult classic status.
Pitt and Clooney will only get roles from the Coens that turn them into preening, superficial assholes, since that's who they really are and the don't exactly have good range.
