RE: The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951)

I see no reason to go see the "new" version based on the promos.....they can't retell that story any better. The promos seem to show a lot more violence and special effects which really weren't a part of the original.

Perhaps the best sci-fi message movie ever and done in my town-DC!
