Every saturday when I was a kid, there was a show around 2 pm called Creature Feature, with fun movies starring non other than Godzilla, Mothra, Gamera, and the rest of those giant city-stomping monsters(Gamera being my personal favorite). I think it was on this 'Creature Feature' that I had seen a movie for the life of me I can't find today. It was set in a jungle or wooded area with a huge and mysterious stone statue that would come to life. As far as I can recall, this 'statue/monster' was a lifeless monument most of the movie, only to come to life near the end to head out on a vengeful rampage. His face would turn to normal flesh(except that it was green) but the rest of his body remained stone, which aided him as he left his forest home and stomped the #$@$! out of a local village. These are fuzzy memories that i'm working from, seeing that the last time I watched the movie was 30-35 years ago. Does this classic flick ring a bell with anyone?
