'Heaven's Gate' debacle, and did some googlin' for added info. I found a documentary was made with the same name-apparently it's been shown on tv, but as far as I could find, there's no DVD (none at Netflix). However, it's available in it's entirety at YouTube (link), in 8 ten-minute portions. Very well done, with interviews of the UA notables, plus some of the actors (Kris Kristofferson, Jeff Bridges, Brad Dourif). Unfortunately, Cimino 'declined to be interviewed'. Still, interesting and enjoyable stuff, and a nice addition to the book.

Can't leave without mentioning the work Brad Dourif did in 'Deadwood'-that guy has got some chops. Impressive.
