I liked it as a 'popcorn' movie. Clint is good and so is the asian girl next door and their interaction together, but I found Clint's son to be a moron, too stupid to be believable, no one with a cranky dad like that would treat him in such a patronizing manner and be mystified at being shunned.
I think the whole movie was a cliche but do not care. It is nice to see Clint doing what he does best - being a man, chewing tobacco and cursing, drinking beer and standing for what is right.
A nice movie made better than average by a star and a formula that is not too risky but pretty safe, just enough off the beaten path that the general public will think they saw a foreign film - and a funny one at that.
