"King of Hearts" (1967) almost slipped...

...my mind.

With a fantastic international cast with the likes of Alan Bates in his prime, Genevieve Bujold at her pixilike best, and a comic turn by Adolfo Celli (aka Largo from Thunderball!) as well as its timeless message, all makes for a lovely film.

Beauty amidst chaos, humor and sentiment.

And then there's Neil Simon's "The Odd Couple", and Steve Martin's "The Jerk"....
