But 'The Long Firm' is much better than 'The Krays' IMO and takes it's place alongside 'TLGF' as a near perfect snapshot of UK gangsters and the eras they are set in.
I read a bit somewhere stating that it came down to Mark Strong and Jimmy Nail being neck and neck for the Harry Starks role.
Anyone who could play 'Spender' as well as Nail did could have pulled the Starks role off but of course now I could not imagine anyone doing it as well as Mark Strong.
