Just had the Director´s cut.
Well no film can have a chance against a well done hours long tv´s series.
So in this case too.
Worse, you have that digital shit ( the boat, much worse as for the Titanic ) and an evident lack of money for the big scenes, that do hurt.
The actors try hard, and in the end are a pale copy of the original acting, a mimic at best.
What is made better, maybe, is the central them of Catholisism.
Maybe I will take another look at the TV´s.
Now who can compete with this??
Jeremy Irons, Anthony Andrews, Diana Quick. John Gielgud, Laurence Olivier, Stéphane Audran Claire Bloom-
Anthony Andrews, Laurence Olivier.
That is unique.
