I actually enjoyed this film. It was a great role for Clive and okay for Julia. Time has just about sucked the cuteness out of Ms Roberts so it won't be long before all that cutesy-pie shit is done.
He MI-6, she CIA meet in Abu Dubai on mission and he ends up drugged, seduced, and robbed. They meet up years later and are working in the private sector for opposing CEOs: Giamatti and Wilkinson. I must say the opening, slow-motion shoving match between the two was priceless.
The plot flashes backs and forth but presents corporate espionage as a total function of paranoid billionaires with mega ego at stake.
The movie and plot, fortunately, are larger than the players and for those who can't tolerate either Clive or Julia this is a blessing.
Grab the old lady and go...she'll think its a Roberts vehicle.
